Pallavi Shah is an environmental and sustainability specialist with more than 15 years of experience. She has worked with the private sector, public sector, multilateral institutions, and NGOs. Most recently, she was with the International Finance Corp., the private sector arm of the World Bank. She applies her strategy, training, and business expertise to help companies address environmental challenges within the context of sound business practices. Her clients range from small to large companies, in the US and emerging markets—clients who represent the broad spectrum of environmental awareness and activity. Pallavi developed an avid interest in the sports industry via her work as a freelance sports photographer.
Mark Starik is a Professor and Department Chair of Strategic Management and Public Policy in the George Washington University School of Business. He researches, teaches, and advises organizations and individuals in the areas of Strategic Environmental Management, Environmental and Energy Policy, Environmental Entrepreneurship, and Implementing Solutions to Climate Crises. Mark is also the Director of the GW Institute for Corporate Responsibility Environmental Sustainability Program, which coordinates the research, teaching, and service within GWSB on the topic of sustainability, is a co-founder of several organizations, including the Academy of Management Organizations & the Natural Environment (ONE) Division, and is a board member of several non-profit organizations, including the Sustainable Business Network of Washington, DC, Solar Household Energy, Inc., and the National Environmental Education Foundation. Mark is also a co-Founder of the Salt Spring Institute for Sustainability Education & Action, where he serves as the organization’s Academic Director.
Margery Moore has over 15 years of experience designing, developing and implementing environmental compliance and sustainability systems for NGO's, governments and corporations. She is a former ISO 14001 auditor and currently is focused on designing online tools to assist organizations as they implement their sustainability strategies. She is a Board member of NAEM, President and co-Founder of the Institute for Sustainability Education & Action (I-SEA) and advisor to the Association for Climate Change Officers (ACCO).
